Historic Architectural Walking Tour
Overview of your Barcelona Tour:
On this tour, we will discover industrialised Barcelona in the XIX together. During the industrial revolution, Barcelona became the economic core of the Iberian Peninsula. We demolished the city walls, we expanded the city, and designed a new Barcelona that would reflect its new prosperity. All this new technology opened the gate to creativity! On this experience, we will see and analyse Passeig the Gracia, which became the symbol of Barcelona’s bourgeoisie, a pleasant and enjoyable overview of this beautiful architectural style that has only occured here, on this side of the world! I always like to say that one thing is to admire a beautiful street and take nice pictures, a something very different is to understand what we are looking at, so you will gain perspective and a different level of appreciation! In the second part of the tour, we will head to Sagrada Familia, where we will analyse the history of the monument and its façades, great location where to finish this modernist experience.
